Since I have gone a little nuts buying from Amalli Talli over the past couple of months, I figured it was high time that share my purchases with you. I have been a customer of Amalli Talli for over 5 years! It has been SO EXCITING watching Amy and Alli (sisters and co-owners Amalli Talli) build their brand and private label over the years. I love their passion for providing on-trend clothing as well as every-day basics for us tall ladies! And I also love that many of their items are made in the U.S. and when they do manufacture overseas, they are careful about what factories they use. So…without further ado, here’s a review of my 2 jackets, a cardigan and a long sleeve striped v-neck tee.

Amalli Talli Faux Leather Jacket – Size Small
Several years ago, I bought a faux leather jacket from another tall brand and wore it so much, I wore it out. When Amalli Talli launched this tall faux leather jacket, I immediately thought “YEP! I needs it!”, and am happy I snatched it up since it is now only available in XS and XL. BUT I just found out today that Amalli Talli is planning to restock it. Yay! This jacket is an absolute dream! I love the sleeve length, the subtle stretchy panels on the sides of the body and the arms which make it extra comfy, the neutral color and the zippers on the pockets to keep you phone nice and secure. I’m a sucker for gold and the hardware on the jacket really speaks to my gold loving heart.
As far as sizing is concerned, I debated between a small and a medium since I bounce back and forth between the two. I am typically a medium these days but I decided to size down to a small and am glad I did! It fits perfectly. I’m wearing it with 2 different v-neck tees from Amalli Talli. (Keep reading to see more of the striped long sleeve tee)!
Amalli Talli Colorblock Cardigan in Rust – Size Medium
When I saw the color combo on this colorblock longline cardigan, I knew I had to have it! The colors are so fun and pretty, and I feel instantly put together when I wear it. I first tried the sweater on with a tank and wondered if I should have gone with a small since the arms felt a bit roomy. BUT I’m glad I have the medium because I am able to easily layer sweaters underneath it. I’m wearing it below with the Amalli Talli scoop neck tank and a grey textured sweater. This will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe for the mild winter weather we’re having so far and I know I’ll wear it well into spring.
Amalli Talli Striped Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee – Size Medium
Confession time! I have wayyyyyyyy too many stripes in my closet and can’t stop adding more. Similar to the above-mentioned leather jacket that I’d worn out after years of wear, I had also worn out my Amalli Talli striped tee that I bought a few years ago and knew it was time for a fresh one. (I still wear the old one around the house…it’s so comfy and I just can’t let it go). Another selling point of this new tee for me was the v-neck. Awhile back, I decided that v-necks and scoop necks are my preferred necklines for tops. I think they are so flattering and like that you can wear either a long or shorter necklace with them. This striped tee is fitted but not clingy and the fabric feels really nice and soft on my skin. As usual, the sleeve and body length on this shirt are absolutely perfect!
Amalli Talli Knit Moto Jacket – Size Medium
I didn’t nab this knit moto jacket fast enough the first time but made sure I pounced on it when Amalli Talli restocked it. So glad I did! I’ve found myself reaching for it again and again the past couple of months. I’m wearing a size medium and can still layer sweaters or long sleeve shirts underneath. The knit material is soft, cozy and “sweatshirt-like” and the moto details totally elevate this jacket. It can be worn just as easily with skirts/dresses or jeans/pants. If I could make an improvement to this jacket, I would make the pockets bigger or add zippers to them to keep my phone more secure.
Well…there ya have it! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions on any of these items.
