I really need to stop devouring food from outdoor markets whilst wearing my nice coats. I’ve had my tall trench coat from Banana Republic for years and have worn it all over the world from Asia to Europe to the U.S. I love the way I feel in it – the way the belt perfectly defines my waist, the longggggg sleeves, the smart collar – it’s a classic and classy wardrobe staple! Today, I managed to get a grease stain on my trench while eating a to-die-for grilled cheese at an outdoor food market, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to salvage the coat. Sigh! This is the second time this has happened to one of my coats so I may have learned my lesson with the whole “standing around and eating messy food” thing.
I’m already on the lookout for another one but figured I’d do a little scrapbook of memories of my current tall trench coat from Banana Republic. You can read my full review of the trench here.

Your turn…
Do you have a trench coat? Where did you get it? I need to know! I might need a new one soon!

Take it to cleaners and see what they can do. If that doesn’t work than I guess you’ll have to hand it down to you know who.
Good idea. That’s what I’m going to do (take it to the cleaners that is). 😉
I got mine from the Tall range at Next, not sure whether they ship to Europe but they probably do. The clothing there is quite reasonably priced too.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out.
